In the story of three women, set in the deep south of 1962, Stone will portray Skeeter, a recent college graduate searching for purpose and her beloved maid, Constantine, who has gone missing. The film also stars Viola Davis and Bryce Dallas Howard and was directed by Tate Taylor.

Stone lent her voice to the upcoming animated comedy Nicolas Cage . The Croods is about a prehistoric society in which one mans leadership is threatened by new inventions such as fire. She will also appear in the multi-storied Movie 43, in one of nine segments comprising the feature-length film, and as Gwen Stacy in director Marc Webbs highly anticipated Andrew Garfield in the title role.
