Hot! San Diego Reader Das Racist

The anthemic "Rainbow from the Dark" as well as irony-laden "Michael Jackson" saved mind bobbing to the stoner Zen with Das Racist , Brooklyn's funniest export. Lines including "Urban Dictionary may be for vices by using institution degrees" struck that open-air campus icon with precision. The group's gonzo point presence cell phone calls that will head the actual provocative theatrics of Andy Kaufman plus the anything-goes functional in the Dadaists. Most songs were book-ended by way of comical dancehall-horn sound. At one point, Victor Vazquez gestured quite while replacing each and every syllable regarding your passage with the expression "YO!" uttered at varying periods of belly-laughter-inducing intensity.

Burdened by a bunk appear system closely worrying bass more than vocals, Vazquez plus Himanshu Suri did their best to stay a runaway prepare on its tracks with this chilly night with La Jolla. With that impetus garnered from their a couple stellar mixtapes along with the not long ago published debut Relax, Das Racist just had to indicate up can be earning ! their words of the tune to help appease attendees. With that in mind, the two emcees and their hypeman Dapwell joked their own method via a disappointingly summary yet engaging set.
